Kerry Kenny
Director, Quality and Technical Support - International

Kerry Kenny manages all aspects of quality and technical support for Niutang's global customers. In his role, he ensures quality, safety and regulatory requirements are met for Niutang's entire portfolio of products. He also assists with customer questions on qualifications, validations and on-site trials as well as provides support as a quality and technical liaison between Niutang's overseas plants and global customers.

Before joining Niutang in 2007, Mr. Kenny served as the senior quality engineer/supervisor for the Tyco Healthcare Company. His responsibilities included ensuring the quality and efficacy of more than 300 different forms of medical devices. He played a key role in ensuring Tyco Healthcare's manufacturing operation maintained its ISO 13485:2003 status, was responsible for the validation of more than $8 million in new equipment, and led the quality team for numerous U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) audits without incurring a single 483 citation.

As a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Mr. Kenny led numerous projects for Tyco that resulted in a 50% reduction in defects per million for the final product medical devices and an annual costs savings of more than $20,000.

Previously, Mr. Kenny served as a group leader for quality assurance and analytical services for The NutraSweet Company. In that role, he ensured the company's quality systems were maintained to meet the requirements set forth by the FDA, International Organization of Standardization (ISO,) AIB International, Georgia Department of Agriculture, Orthodox Union, and the Code of Federal Regulations. Mr. Kenny also was responsible for the site Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points program, which prevents physical, chemical and microbiological contamination. He also worked with numerous customers, including Coca-Cola, Lipton, Unilever, and Winn Dixie, on sweetener technical applications for their products.

Mr. Kenny was nominated for a Monsanto Environmental Pledge Award and is a listed inventor of a submitted patent titled 'Novel Aspartame Powders'.

Mr. Kenny has a bachelor of science in chemistry from Georgia Southern University. He is a certified ISO auditor, wastewater analyst and incident analysis facilitator.
